As Co-Head of Strategic Planning, Anderson is a hands-on leader who is equally passionate about mentoring and empowering young talent as rolling up his sleeves and writing a brief himself.
Since joining M+P in 2018, he has overhauled the agency’s creative brief, engineered and instituted the 5-3-1 strategic process, led a comprehensive, 18-month refresh of the century-old White Castle brand, and served as pitch and global strategy lead on the paradigm-shifting insomnia treatment, QUVIVIQ. But he’s never come close to winning the agency bracket pool, despite being (or perhaps because he is) a college basketball fanatic.
After jettisoning a law school plan nearly 15 years ago, Anderson serendipitously discovered planning at G2 under the mentorship of Chris Cooper, and he’s been putting his curiosity, empathy, and knack for brand storytelling to work for organizations from the top of the Fortune list to blank-slate startups, and everything in between, ever since.
When he isn’t working, and with any luck, you’ll find him at a Phish show, reading a crime novel, or hiking a Catskill High Peak. A Virginia native, Anderson lives in Brooklyn with his wonderful wife, Danielle, and their sweet-but-psycho Goldendoodle, Danko.
